Homs, a city that has entered the history books as a disgraceful stain in the march of humanity in the beginning of 21st century. A city whose inhabitants were forced to abandon and its population slaughtered, while world politicians have been arranging the words in their statements, day after day, for more than a year.

Homs, the city where some residential areas have almost entirely been destroyed, had its field and even civic hospitals bombarded, its media centers shelled in order to eliminate the alleged ‘armed gangs’. قامت مجموعة صغيرة من الناشطين بتنظيم رحلة إلى مدينة يبرود التي تستغرق ساعة من العاصمة, والتي اشترك بها عدد من العلويين والإسماعيليين، وهم أيضاً اقليات في هذا البلد متعدد الإثنيات.
نُظمت هذه الرحلة من قبل واحدة من مجموعات المجتمع المدني، تسمي نفسها “تجمع نبض” .
نبض تعني نبض القلب. بحسب صفحة هذه المجموعة على الفيسبوك فإنهم يدعون للتعددية، والديمقراطية والمواطنة.
الناشطون هنا يركزون على منع الإنقسام الطائفي الذي يتهمون النظام بإثارته وهذا ما تدعو إليه هذه المظاهرة في يبرود إيضاً.

Nous sommes un groupe de chrétiens syriens, croyants en notre Seigneur Jésus Christ et fidèles aux enseignements de notre église. Loin de tout intérêt personnel, nous affirmons bien connaître la nature du peuple syrien et la justesse de sa révolution.

La Syrie n’a jamais manqué, lors de ses périodes glorieuses, d’apporter sa contribution à l’humanité et de répandre l’amour et le bien. C’est sur cette terre que Seigneur Jésus a marché et que l’apôtre Paul a lancé son message. Témoignages de la spiritualité et de l’humanité de notre pays.
