Three massacres were committed in Hawla City, and more are being committed now 76 martyrs are confirmed in Hawla alone, and more than 300 wounded.
Hawla city has been under shelling for more than 12 hours.

Shooting started at a demonstration with bullets and artillery, and the shelling has not stopped for more than 12 hours.
Hundreds of missiles hit the civilian homes, causing hundreds of them to burn.

Assad thugs (Shabeeha) supported by the security gangs attached the houses located at the edges of Hawla city, and committed field execution against the civilians, they slaughtered them with knives… most of the killed are children.

I called up to the UN monitors and begged them to come to Hawla , they promised to come tomorrow morning.
I asked the UN monitors to stop the shelling for only half an hour.

The UN monitors are sleeping now, while the massacres are being committed.

We used to count the number of martyrs, but now, we are counting the number of families slaughtered.
The whole world helps in killing the Syrians, not just the Syrian regime.

We have many martyrs and wounded that we could not reach because of the continuous shelling and the cut-off of electricity.

We are still discovering more massacres in the city.
The Syrian regime is now killing under the nose of the whole world and in the name of the UN monitors.

Tuesday, 15 March 2011: In an unprecedented move in defiance of President Bashar al Assad, a small demonstration took place in the capital Damascus following calls by activists on Facebook to demand an end to oppression, corruption and suppression of freedoms. Protests emerged against President Bashar Assad and his despotic family, which has been controlling power since 1971 as well as against the despotic Baath Party and the emergency laws it ruled with since 1963.

The protests started as a small demonstration in the capital Damascus on Tuesday, March the 15th, 2011. The following day another demonstration took place with about 100 participants demanding the release of detainees.

Friday 18 March 2011, the “Friday of Dignity”: Demonstrations took place in Damascus, Homs, Daraa, and Banyas to which the State Security forces responded brutally, especially in Daraa. As a result, four people were killed. For the rest of the week State Security forces attacked protesters around al Omary mosque in Daraa and other parts of the city. This turned the demonstrations into bloody clashes between unarmed civilians and armed State Security forces which claimed the lives of 100 protesters according to human rights organizations.

25 March 2011: For the first time, the demonstrations spread to tens of Syrian cities under the slogan of the “Friday of Glory”. Protests took place in Jableh, Hama, Lattakia as well as several areas in Damascus and its suburbs such as souk al Hamidiya, Marjeh, Mazzeh, Qaboun, Kesweh, Daraya, al Tal, Douma, and Zabadany. From that day, and week after week, the protests escalated both in the number of locations and participation.

22 April 2011: One of the bloodiest days, following the death of 100 people during demonstrations on a Friday that was called “The Great Friday” or “Good Friday” [as it coincided with Easter].

25 April 2011: The Syrian army started a military campaign in Daraa and Douma, which was the first of its kind, and lead to the death of dozens of civilians.

28 May 2011: Another military campaign was carried out in the cities of Rastan and Talbiseh that killed 100 people.

3 June 2011: Ten thousands of people held a sit-in at al Asee square in downtown Hama. State Security forces opened fire on them killing more than 70 in a massacre that came to be known as the “Children of Freedom” massacre after the name of that Friday.

28 August 2011: On that evening State Security forces surrounded al Rifai Mosque in Kafar Sousah, Damascus, and following the conclusion of the night prayer, they raided the mosque and attacked the Imam who leads the prayer as well as the worshipers inside.

By the end of Ramadan, Amnesty International declared that 88 people have died under torture since the beginning of the uprising. And in total 473 were killed during the month of Ramadan.

In Early September 2011, the President of the United Nations Human Rights Council announced that at least 2600 people were killed since the beginning of the uprising on March the 15^th.

29 October 2011: The army started shelling Baba Amr neighborhood in Homs with heavy machine guns.

13 March 2012: The Syrian regime committed another massacre in Homs in the neighborhoods of Karam al Zaeitoun and al Adawiyeh that claimed the lives of 47 women and children.

The Syrian regime’s violations against the Syrian people continue and more people are being killed and wounded every day.

روسيا: إمبراطورية الشر المعدّلة؟

حيثما تجد أشخاصاً يناضلون من أجل الحصول على حريتهم ستجد نظاماً يقتلهم بأسلحة روسية. فخلال الثورة في ليبيا كنت معظم الوقت تحت النيران الناشئة من بنادق وقنابل يدوية وصواريخ وقذائف الهاون روسية الصنع، استخدمتها قوات القذافي، واستخدمت بنفسي أسلحة روسية مستولى عليها في عدة مناسبات.

لا يوجد في كل العالم حليف للدكتاتورية أعظم من روسيا. تعرقل روسيا تدخلاً في سوريا عبر مجلس الأمن في الأمم المتحدة، بينما تشحن الأسلحة في الوقت نفسه إلى بشار الأسد لتضمن بقاءه في السلطة واستمراره كزبون جيد لصفقات سلاح مستقبلية. قامت روسيا بتطوير علاقات وطيدة مع عدة أنظمة ديكتاتورية حول العالم والتي تقوم بقمع مواطنيها وانتهاك لحقوق الإنسان باستخدام الأسلحة التي تزودها بها روسيا. وكنتيجة للربيع العربي ولموجة الديمقراطية التي تجتاح العالم، تراقب روسيا تأثيرها وهو يتلاشى كالماء من سد مكسور ولا تكترث لعدد الأموات اللازم لسد الثقوب.

يتضمن تقرير “عمليات نقل الأسلحة التقليدية إلى الدول النامية، 2003-2010″ (FAS) قائمة بزبائن روسيا لصفقات الأسلحة. المشتبه بهم المعتادون موجودون كلهم هناك:

إيران – ليبيا (في عهد القذافي) – سوريا – الجزائر – اليمن – الصين – السودان – زيمبابوي

وللمقارنة، فإن الزبائن الأساسيين للولايات المتحدة هم:

إسرائيل – تايوان – المملكة العربية السعودية – مصر – باكستان – الهند – الأردن

بعض هذه البلدان هم أنظمة دكتاتورية، وأنا لم أقم بإدراج جميع البلدان التي تشتري الأسلحة من روسيا والولايات المتحدة، ولكن الآثار الأخلاقية لقوائم زبائن روسيا والولايات المتحدة واضحة تماماً. على الرغم من أن الولايات المتحدة ليست بريئة من بيع الأسلحة لأنظمة مشكوك بأمرها، إلا أن أفعال روسيا والصين مرعبة إلى حد ما في استراتيجياتها وحجمها.

النموذج المقلق

لا تخبر قوائم الزبائن القصة كاملة. فبفحص دقيق لنظم الأسلحة التي تبيعها روسيا إلى هذه الأنظمة يتكشف لنا استراتيجية تبدو مصممة خصيصاً لتثبيط تدخل عسكري غربي ضد الأنظمة الدكتاتورية (كما حدث في ليبيا). الدليل هو في الأرقام (أدرجت أيضاً أعداد الأسلحة الأمريكية للمقارنة):

لماذا قامت روسيا ببيع أعداد هائلة من صواريخ أرض-جو، وممتلكات خاصة بالقوات الجوية إلى هذه الأنظمة؟ الجواب واضح: لتثبيط حملات الغرب العسكرية ضد أفضل زبائنها. نجح ذلك في سوريا حيث انتهت إحدى المجادلات حول ضربات جوية غربية لدعم الثائرين ضد بشار الأسد، كون أن قوة الدفاع الجوي للنظام هائلة ويتطلب مشروعاً ضخماً لتفكيكها. لا يزال عملهم مستمراً – في تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر 2011، زعمت روسيا بإرسال مستشارين تقنيين للمساعدة في تركيب أنظمة دفاع صاروخي أرض-جو S-300 متطورة في سوريا، ولتحديث أنظمة الرادار السورية حول مرافق حساسة.

ارتفعت واردات سوريا الأساسية من الأسلحة بمقدار 580 بالمئة بين عامي 2002-2006، وزودت روسيا 78 بالمئة من الأسلحة إلى سوريا خلال الفترة بين 2007-2011. تضمنت هذه المشتريات صواريخ دفاع جوي ومضادات للسفن؛ الصواريخ المضادة للسفن ذات مدى طويل يصل لـ 300 كم. استلمت سوريا 7% من مبيعات روسيا من الأسلحة عام 2010 والتي وصلت قيمتها إلى 10 بليون دولار.

كذلك قامت كل من ليبيا وفنزويلا (نظام هجين، ديكتاتوري جزئياً) وبورما (ميانمار) بشراء صواريخ أرض-جو من روسيا في السنوات الأخيرة. كما خططت روسيا أيضاً أن تبيع صواريخ أرض-جو S-300 إلى إيران، محاولة بكل وضوح تثبيط ضربة أمريكية أو إسرائيلية ضد برنامج إيران النووي، ولكن الصفقة لم تحدث بسبب الضغوط الدبلوماسية من قبل الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي.

حماية لاستثمارهم

تسعى روسيا بيأس، كظل للاتحاد السوفياتي السابق، إلى تحقيق النفوذ في العالم من خلال تجارة الأسلحة. قام العديد من زبائنهم بشراء نظم أسلحة عائدة إلى الحقبة السوفياتية، وهم معتمدون على روسيا من أجل عمليات الإصلاح والتبديل والتحديث والتزود بالذخيرة. تنتج روسيا أيضاً أسلحة متطورة تكنولوجياً وتبيعها لأنظمة لا تتعامل الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي معها. بخطوة كهذه، تهدف روسيا إلى موازنة النفوذ الأمريكي في العالم وإلى حماية جيشها ومصالحها الاقتصادية (بالإضافة إلى الشعور القومي)، ومؤخراً من أجل المساعدة في وقف انتشار الديمقراطية حول العالم والتي قد تؤدي إلى وصول الربيع الروسي في موسكو.

لسوء الحظ، تتم ألعاب المكائد الدولية والنفوذ هذه من وراء الشعوب التي تعاني في البلدان النامية في دول مثل إيران وسوريا والجزائر والسودان وزيمبابوي وكذلك ليبيا حتى وقت قريب مضى.

صورة بتاريخ 20 إبريل/نيسان 2012، تظهر أحد الثوار السوريين يقف داخل منزل أثري تعرض لأضرار جسيمة بسبب قصفه من قبل قوات الأمن السورية في حي الحميديه، في محافظة حمص، المدينة القديمة، وسط سوريا (أسوشيتد برس).

بيروت – على قمة تلة شاهقة، صمدت قلعة الحصن، إحدى أفضل القلاع الصليبية المحافظ عليها في العالم، أمام الحصار الذي فرض عليها من قبل المحارب المسلم صلاح الدين الأيوبي قبل 900 عاماً تقريباً. وقد أثنى لورانس العرب على جمالها وكانت إحدى نفائس السياحة في سورية.

ولكن القلعة وقعت ضحية لفوضى الثورة السورية والقمع الممارس ضدها من قبل نظام الرئيس بشار الأسد. يقول بسام جاموس، المدير العام لمديرية الآثار والمتاحف في دمشق إن مسلحين اقتحموا القلعة مؤخراً وطردوا الموظفين وبدؤوا حفريات لنهب الموقع.

ويحذر الخبراء من أن الاضطرابات في سوريا تهدد التراث الأثري الغني في البلاد.

وقد وقعت بعض المواقع الأكثر أهمية في البلاد وسط تبادل لإطلاق النار في معارك بين قوات النظام والثوار. وتحولت مواقع أخرى إلى قواعد عسكرية، ما يثير مخاوف علماء الآثار من الأضرار الناجمة عن ذلك. لقد أدى القصف المدفعي الذي شنه النظام على الأحياء السكنية حيث تتحصن المعارضة إلى تدمير المساجد والكنائس والأسواق التاريخية، وسرق اللصوص الأعمال الفنية من الحفريات والمتاحف.

في أحد أكثر الأمثلة الصارخة، خرقت القذائف جدران قلعة المضيق التي تعود للقرن الثاني عشر، وتصاعدت ألسنة اللهب وأعمدة الدخان حين اشتبكت قوات النظام مع المتمردين في مارس/آذار. وأحدث القصف فتحات في الجدران، وفقاً لمشاهد مصورة من المعركة بثت على شبكة الإنترنت.

وقال نشطاء محليون إن قوات النظام نفذَت الهجوم، ثم نقلت الدبابات إلى القلعة على قمة التل. وأظهرت المشاهد المصورة لاحقاً جرافات تحفر جزءاً من الجدران لإنشاء مدخل.

وتبادلت الحكومة والمعارضة إلقاء اللائمة بالمسؤولية عن الضرر ونهب المواقع في جميع أنحاء البلاد. لكن مجموعة من علماء الآثار الأوروبيين والسوريين الذين يتتبعون تلك التهديدات عبر تقارير من شهود على الأرض تقول أنه في حالات عديدة، قامت قوات الحكومة بتنفيذ إصابات مباشرة لمواقع تاريخية وشاركت في عمليات النهب أو غضت الطرف عنها.

وفي هذا الصدد، يقول رودريجو مارتن Rodrigo Martin، وهو عالم آثار إسباني قاد بعثات بحوث في الماضي في سوريا: “لدينا حقائق تبين أن الحكومة تعمل مباشرة ضد التراث التاريخي للبلاد”.

إن ما يحدث يذكرنا بالفوضى في العراق في أعقاب سقوط صدام حسين في عام 2003، عندما نهب متحف بغداد الرئيسي، وفي مصر حيث زاد النهب في المواقع الأثرية في جميع أنحاء البلاد في الاضطراب الحاصل منذ الإطاحة بالرئيس المصري حسني مبارك في العام الماضي.

على مفترق طرق مهم، تمتد الكنوز الأثرية الغنية في سورية على مدى آلاف السنين. وكثيراً ما يزعم أن العاصمة دمشق هي أقدم مدينة مأهولة بالسكان في العالم. وقد كشف علماء الآثار مدناً عمرها 5,000 سنة تعود إلى العصر البرونزي الأول، وتنتشر في البلاد تلال لا تزال غير محفورة وتخفي على الأرجح مزيداً من هذه المدن. لقد خلفت سلسلة من الثقافات بصماتها – من الحضارات التوراتية وخلفاء الإسكندر الأكبر والرومان إلى الصليبين المسيحيين والممالك الإسلامية.

من جانبه، أضاف مارتن إن “ما نعرفه عن التراث السوري زودنا بكمية هائلة من المعلومات، ولكننا نستطيع أن نقول بثقة إن الجزء الذي لم يدرس بعد يحتوي على مخزون أكبر من المعلومات”، إن كل حادثة تدمير تعد “كحرق صفحة في كتاب تاريخ البشرية.”

كما ساعد التراث على تشجيع السياحة التي كانت تزداد باستمرار قبل الأزمة، مما أعطى دفعاً اقتصادياً تحتاجه البلاد بشدة، فقد زار أكثر من 8.5 مليون سائح سوريا في عام 2010،  ما يزيد بمقدار 40 % عن العام السابق، أما الآن فليس هناك سياح عملياً.

وبقيت آثار تدمر التي تعود إلى 2000 عاماً تقريباً مهجورة، وهي واحة مدينة ضاربة في التاريخ و كانت من أكبر المعالم السياحية بأروقتها الرومانية الشاهقة ومعبد الإله بعل الموجود فيها. وقد طوقتها القوات الحكومية مع بلدة مجاورة وأقامت قاعدة عسكرية في قلعة تاريخية على قمة تل يطل على الموقع في عمق الصحراء المركزية السورية.

في تقرير للمنظمة الثقافية للأمم المتحدة “اليونسكو” والمجموعة الأوروبية للحفاظ على التراث “يوروميد”، حذر مارتن وغيره من علماء الآثار من أن تحصينات القوات تسببت بدمار أجزاء من الآثار، كما يقولون أن هناك أيضاً تقارير تتحدث عن نهب تحت نظر الجيش – مما يزيد من احتمال تورطه.

فقد جاء في التقرير أن “مجموعات من الأشخاص قامت بإجراء عدة حفريات سرية، وكانت قوات الأمن أول تلك المجموعات”، في إشارة إلى عمليات النهب في أنحاء البلاد. ويقول علماء الآثار، الذين أنشؤوا صفحة على الفيسبوك لمتابعة التقارير عن الأضرار، إن الحفريات غير المشروعة حدثت في عدد من التلال غير المنقبة ومواقع أخرى.

وبالإضافة إلى اقتحام قلعة الحصن في مارس/آذار، استهدف مسلحون أيضاً متحفاً في مدينة حماة، وهربوا بتحف وتمثالاً ذهبياً لا يقدر بثمن يعود تاريخه إلى العصر الآرامي، حسب ما قال جاموس، من الجهة الحكومية المعنية بالمتحف (مديرية الآثار والمتاحف).

من ناحية أخرى، نفى جاموس أن الجيش هاجم أية مواقع أثرية وقال إن المتمردين المسلحين تسببوا بالضرر.

وكانت مواقع أخرى قد تعرضت للخطر في تبادل إطلاق النار خلال المعارك اليومية.

قبل عدة أسابيع، قال ناشطون في شمال غرب محافظة إدلب إن الجيش والمنشقين اشتبكوا داخل آثار إيبلا وحولها، وهي مدينة من العصر البرونزي، حيث اكتشف علماء الآثار في الستينيات كنزاً هائلاً من الرقم المسمارية التي أحدثت ثورة في فهمهم للشرق الأوسط القديم.

وتسببت هجمات الحكومة على معاقل المعارضة في المدن والأحياء – في كثير من الأحيان بالقصف وإطلاق نار كثيف من أسلحة رشاشة – بإحداث أضرار واسعة النطاق.

ما كان يوماً سوقاً مغطى تملؤه الحيوية في حمص القديمة، ويشتهر بسقفه المقوس الطويل غير المألوف حيث كان الناس يقايضون المنسوجات الملونة والسجاد والعطور والملابس، قد تعرض لأضرار بالغة، حيث اسودت جدرانه من النار وامتلأت ممراته بالأنقاض وتشوهت مصاريع المحال واخترقت بشظايا.

كما قصفت منازل حمص التقليدية ذات المداخل المقوسة والفناءات الداخلية.

كانت المساجد منطلقاً لاحتجاجات مناهضة للحكومة في سوريا، واستهدف الكثير منها، لاسيما في محافظتي درعا، مهد الثورة السورية، وحمص، معقل المعارضة الواقعة على بعد 80 ميلاً (130 كيلومتراً) شمال دمشق.

في أوائل الانتفاضة، استهدفت الحكومة المسجد العمري في درعا، الذي بني أثناء الفتح الإسلامي لسوريا في أيام الخليفة عمر بن الخطاب. ويقول نشطاء إن القوات الحكومية خربت المسجد عمداً وأخفت أسلحة في داخله لإثبات أن العصابات المسلحة كانت مختبئة هناك.

وتظهر أشرطة الفيديو المآذن المقصوفة والواجهات المدمرة بالقذائف لمساجد وكنائس عدة في مدينة حمص. وهي تشمل كنيسة أم الزنار التي بنيت تحت الأرض في عام 59 ميلادي.

وفي كانون الثاني، ضربت المدفعية دير صيدنايا شمال دمشق، ويعتقد أنه بني في عام 547 ميلادي، في هجوم حملت الحكومة الجماعات المسلحة المسؤولية عنه.

وقال الناشط طارق بدرخان الذي كان يتحدث عبر سكايب من منطقة الخالدية المنكوبة في حمص: “ليس لديهم أي احترام للتراث الثقافي للبلاد، المساجد والقلاع والمدينة القديمة، لم يبقوا شيئاً”.

Purgatory, is the most proper expression to describe the world of the Syrian State Security branches.. to live death in a closed narrow space, between two worlds. Between these two worlds I lived death.

On 28 March 2011 Bashar Al-Assad was a few meters from my house, laughing, while I was being tortured in my bedroom and the jailers’ shoes were scattering my clothes and notebooks. The dictator was laughing joyfully in the Syrian Parliament, and the sound of my pain was very loud in Al-Abed Street in Damascus. They threw me in many solitary isolation cells, and I was introduced to the simplest of torture techniques “the whip”, because in Syria a job in journalism is considered one of the most awful crimes. The interrogator was reading my articles and swearing at me.

When they once moved me from one security branch to another, three jailers asked me about my crime; “Journalist” I answered, and the brutal beating started. At the end of the torture, they laughed, “you animals are making the crosswords puzzles too difficult” one of them said.

I entered my solitary confinement cell, and started thinking of a journalistic subject about the comedy of darkness, about the magnitude of the ridiculous situations caused by the excessive stupidity of the interrogator, the torture men, and the jailers.. they all were stupid to the point of laughter.

Once, they whipped me because of my work for the Lebanese newspaper “Annahar” which has a blue logo, and thus it must be an Israeli newspaper as it carries the color of the Israeli flag, and therefore I must be an agent of the [Israeli intelligence apparatus] the Mossad. I write for “Annahar”, and I do not work for [the pro-regime channel] “Addonia TV” nor write for the [Syrian government] newspaper “Al-Thawra”.

 I was released after 16 days of darkness and comedy accompanying the torture, and returned to my job covering the Syrian revolution. I wrote my will to my father:

“Ask for my life to be my blood money. Say: I want him alive here. Paint our house’s door with my blood, and wash my corpse with the clouds that I love, then burry me in a spacious and crowded graveyard, to raise my head among the dead”.

The will ends up with “ask for your freedom to be my blood money”.

 I took to the streets with thousands of people, because I believe that journalistic work could help achieve the Syrian dream of freedom. I founded with a group of independent Syrian journalists “the Street Institution for Media and Development”.

 The “Street” started documenting events happening on the ground, by making documentaries, founding a news network covering all the Syrian cities, and publishing investigative journalism reports from the centers of events. The team has conducted more than fifty TV interviews with the most important and influential opposition personalities.

The Institution has worked on the production of a program titled “dialogues from the Syrian scene”, which was aired on Al-Arabiya channel, and showed a number of interviews filmed in secret, away from the security apparatus eyes. In addition, a number of documentaries were produced, such as “Smuggling 23 Minutes of Revolution” which was the first documentary about the Syrian revolution, highlighting the development of events in Hama city before the Syrian Army entered it, and it was presented on Al-Arabiya channel, and another documentary titled “Azadi” (Freedom in Kurdish) which was filmed last August in Al- Qamishli city and the other Kurdish areas in northern Syria, and won the Silver Hawk award in the Rotterdam Arab Film Festival for its portrait of the daily life of the revolution, and it was also aired on France24 TV channel. In addition the “Street” produced a documentary titled “Hama 1982, Hama 2011” which juxtaposed the two massacres committed by the regime, as well as a number of reports and stories from different Syrian cities.

 Later, I was arrested once again in a night ambush set by the Military Security agents in Damascus on the 3^rd of September 2011. On that night, they tortured me brutally to find out the location of my house, in order to confiscate all my work equipment, but my little patience saved my house.

During the interrogation, the blood burst out of my head in an attempt to make me confess that I was earning money from Al-Arabiya channel for my work, but once again, my little patience saved me from revealing secrets that could hurt me and hurt the Institution.

However, I got out of the interrogation room with a wound in my head and many marks of whipping and interrogators’ feet. The interrogator was insistent on snatching a compulsory confession out of me: that what we were doing is just misleading media, and all what the world media is publishing is a lie, he was trampling on my back and trying to convince me of their humanity.

After 54 days spent underground at the Intelligence branch number 215, they sent me to the Military Court in Damascus, where the judges insulted and cursed me, repeatedly saying “you deserve death”, because I am a journalist betraying his homeland.

 At the court cell, they handed me a small paper, where they wrote my accusation: “broadcasting fake news that could lead to weakening the national spirit”. So with a warrant of commitment I departed to Damascus Central Prison.

There, I met my friends who were arrested one month before my kidnapping. They informed me that my documentary “Azadi” had won a prize.

We tried to smuggle a small camera into the prison, but we failed. So then I wrote with one of my friends an investigative report about the prison, because the revolution must continue even in detention.  We were receiving news every Saturday, the only day where visits were allowed. My sweetheart was smuggling letters of love to me, and she once wrote, literally in between the lines of a love letter, an article of a well-known political writer explaining the situation of the revolution.

In the cell, I felt pity on my father, who was at all times carrying my will in his pocket, I sent him a letter, saying:

“Father, the men never have fear for the men, and the free never have fear for the free. I have abandoned the fear, and wrote a letter of life to you, against the last wills and death, because he who is touched by the revolution, becomes an unbreakable song”.

At that time, I deserted the despair as well, and worked with one of my revolution and prison colleagues on the Syrian Street Carnival project because their prisons are much too small to contain the space of our dreams.

I was released on the 4^th of January 2012, after the Syrian State Security confiscated all the Institution’s cameras and equipment, and arrested most of its team. We became “dead broke” as the expression says.

We tried to reactivate the role of the “Street Institution”, and to organize the “the Syrian Street.. a year of Revolution” carnival. The festival took place over the period of 15 to 22 March in many places and squares inside Syria, and many squares in the world’s capitals, presenting various cultural and artistic activities, including cinema, theatre, music, and installation art. But it was not successful enough.

Many documentaries were filmed and are now in process of completion. One of these films shows the battles took place in Zabadany between the Free Syrian Army and the Syrian Regular Army. The work of our institution will continue, making media materials that go beyond presenting quick news stories, so that to present the daily life of people and the details of how they are manufacturing the revolution.

  Now, I try to avoid prison as much as possible. But they arrested my Father 10 days ago, because he has begotten a criminal journalist, who is trying to convey the truth with a group of his comrades, just like the thousands of the Syrians who carry their cameras in their cellphones to document the truth and the daily death.

What I did is much less than the price paid by the thousands of the Syrians and much smaller than the tremendous dream of building the developed free Syria.

I write my testimony of one year’s work in covering the events and making them from my warm house, while at this very moment, tens of my colleagues are running between the alleys of Homs, Hama and Idlib.

I sit in my house, while many of my journalist colleagues are in their graves because of the Syrian regime’s bullets, for that, I feel ashamed of my house and my words.

نجحت المعارضة السورية في تنفيذ هجوم على دائرة الحكم الضيقة. قُتل في هذا الهجوم عدة أشخاص من بينهم آصف شوكت رئيس جهاز الاستخبارات و صهر الرئيس الأسد.

نجحت المعارضة على مايبدو في شن هجوم من العيار الثقيل ضد دائرة الحكم الضيقة حول الرئيس  بشار الأسد. وفقاً لمعلومات صحيفة “ فيلت أونلاين”  فقد تم تسميم عدة أشخاص من “خلية الأزمة” التابعة للرئيس ومن بينهم آصف شوكت رئيس الأركان ورئيس جهاز الاستخبارات.

كان شوكت زوجاً لبشرى شقيقة الرئيس ذات الاثنين وخمسين عاماً، المرأة القوية في عائلة الأسد. يُعد اللواء في الجيش السوري منذ نهاية السبعينات، بقسوته وتأثيره الكبير على الرئيس، الحاكم الفعلي لسوريا. كان الرجل ذو الاثنين وستين عاماً العقلَ المدبر خلف اغتيال رئيس الوزراء اللبناني الأسبق رفيق الحريري في عام 2005. قامت الولايات المتحدة بتجميد أرصدة آصف شوكت بدعوى اشتراكه في تقديم دعم مباشر للإرهاب في العراق ولبنان والأراضي الفلسطينية.

أُصيب في بطنه بعد جدال

كان شوكت مثيراً للجدل دائماً، حتى ضمن عائلته. قام باسل الأسد، الذي كان يُنظر إليه حتى موته في حادث عام 1994 على أنه خليفة لوالده، بسجن عشيق شقيقته أربع مرات. لكن هذا لم يغير في الأمر شيئاً، فقد كان الحب أقوى من كل ذلك و بهذا سُمح لآصف شوكت بالدخول لعائلة الأسد عن طريق الزواج في العام 1995. ولكن هذا لم يؤد إلى توافق داخلي في العائلة, حيث قام ماهر الأسد أصغر فرد في عائلة مؤسس السلالة حافظ الأسد، بعمر أربع و أربعين سنة، وهو شقيق الرئيس والمعروف بوحشيته الكبيرة ومزاجه العصبي  بإطلاق النار على صهره من مسدس صغير في البطن بعد جدال في القصر الرئاسي. كان هذا في العام 1999، وقد نجحت النخبة الحاكمة وقتها بإخفاء كل شيء وقامت بإرسال شوكت للعلاج في فرنسا. لكن المشهد العائلي القبيح فُضح لاحقاً وأدى ذلك  إلى معاناة الأسد الأب، الذي كان يعاني أصلاً من أمراض السرطان القاتلة.

و لكن قبل أن يموت في عام 2000، قام بتعيين شوكت في دائرة الحكم الضيقة، التي لم يغادرها منذ ذلك الوقت. حذر ماهر شقيقه بشار دائماً من أن يثق بصهره. ولكن بشار تجاهل شقيقه الأصغر ماهر وجعل من شوكت أقوى رجل أمن لديه – ربما عن قصد ليكون قطباً مقابلاً لشقيقه سريع الغضب.

أكد صادق الموصلي، ممثل المجلس الوطني السوري المعارض هذه المعلومات: “تمكن نشطاء المعارضة في عملية طويلة من تجنيد طباخ في الحلقة الأمنية الضيقة، قام بخلط سم في الطعام، مات أربعة أشخاص، ومازال اثنان ينازعان الموت.

يمكنني القول بكل تأكيد أن شوكت كان من بين الموتى. “ بعد فترة قصيرة من الهجوم أقلعت طائرة عسكرية من مطار المزة العسكري في دمشق. غالباً حتى يتم إخراج جثة شوكت من المدينة، وفقاً لما قاله الموصلي. ”

أكد عبد الحليم خدام، نائب الرئيس السوري من عام 1984 وحتى عام 2005 و المقيم حالياً في المنفى، موت شوكت.

 “البطل” موجود بمكان آمن خارج البلاد

يقول نشطاء المعارضة أنه تم التجسس على خلية الأسد الأمنيّة ومراقبتها لمدة شهرين. ومن بعد ذلك تم ضربها، حيث أعلن الجيش السوري الحر مسؤوليته عن تنفيذ عملية التسمسم هذه. وبحسب المعارضة، فإن “كتيبة الصحابة” هاجمت خلية النظام لإدارة الأزمة في أحد اجتماعاتها في قصر المؤتمرات.

صرّح العقيد خالد الحبوس عبر فيديو بُثّ عبر الانترنت بالتفاصيل التالية: “نفذت سرية المهام الخاصة عملية عسكرية سرّيّة، حيث قامت بمراقبة والتجسس على أعضاء ما يسمّى خلية إدارة الأزمة لمدة شهرين.

بعدها قام بطل من هذه السريّة بتنفيذ العملية حيث دسّ السم لهم.” ويتواجد هذا “البطل” بحسب أقوال الموصلي خارج سوريا في مكان آمن.

شاحب، عصبي ومريض

وصفت وسائل الإعلام السورية الرسمية على الفور مزاعم المعارضة “بغير ذات الصلة بالواقع”. أمّا وزير الداخلية، محمد الشعار، الذي طالته عملية التسميم، فقد فنّد ما قاله الثوّار في مؤتمر صحفي عُقد على عجل، بدا فيه شاحباً، عصبيّاً ومريضاً – ما أعطى الثوّار إشارة واضحة بأنه تناول السم أيضاً، لكن بجرعة منخفضة.

هاتفيّاً تكلّم حسن تركماني، معاون نائب الرئيس وعضو خليّة الأزمة، عن “أكاذيب مكشوفة”. على النقيض من ذلك لم يسمع أو يرَ أحدٌ شيئاً عن شوكت أو وزيرالدفاع راجحة، ما عدّه الثوّار إثباتاً لنجاح عمليتهم.

كان الرئيس الأب والدكتاتور حافظ الأسد قبل وفاته قد أوصى آصف شوكت بابنه بشار المتخصص في طب العيون  “ألا يتركه نهائياً”. إن صحّ ما يقال، فإنه لم يفِ بما طُلب منه – ولو كان ذلك بغير رضاه.
